Last night I was lucky enough to win an award from my company. It still hasn’t sunk in, but what has is the fact that I have a ton to be thankful for. The way I've been treated at my place of work is proof that the grass isn't always greener on the other side.

We are making our world sick. We have been for a long time now. Climate change is affecting our planet, leading to more intense heat waves, droughts, wildfires, hurricanes and blizzards. We’re polluting our oceans, our land, and our air. And we’re destroying the habitats of animals that are crucial to our own survival.
This is an open letter to anyone who judges their success – at work or at home – by comparing themselves to others. By the same token, it’s also an important reminder to myself of what’s important and what’s not.
